If you’re looking for more than just a 3D concept — if you need real, functional product designs built for manufacturing, prototyping, and actual use — I can help. I’m a U.S.-based mechanical/product engineer with over 15 years of CAD design experience and a proven track record of bringing physical products to life. My designs aren’t just for show — they’ve been manufactured, tested, shipped, and used by real customers in real environments. From precision mechanical assemblies to injection-molded components, 3D-printed prototypes, and production tooling, I’ve delivered complete solutions for clients ranging from startups to major manufacturers. I’ve worked as a Senior Product Engineer at a publicly traded company, contributed to government and defense programs, and designed parts for industries including 3D printing, firearms, consumer electronics, and industrial automation. What sets me apart: Manufacturing-ready CAD – not just pretty renders Experience with real-world constraints – tolerances, cost, DFM, ergonomics, stress, material choice Hands-on engineering insight – I don’t just model, I solve problems Clear U.S.-based communication & accountability – timelines, documentation, and results you can count on Yes, my rates are higher than offshore freelancers — but you're paying for proven reliability, quality you can manufacture, and a designer who understands the why behind every decision. Whether you need to make a new idea, optimize a prototype for injection molding, or take your napkin sketch to production — I’m ready to help. Let’s build something real.

Who do you want designing your project? The recent graduate with a few year's experience, or the veteran designer with decades of experience? I am the latter. I create robust geometrically constrained models. Everyone likes to say they design to ASME Y14.5 standards. My experience has been that most people don't even know what it says. The drawing must completely define the deliverable without specifying process, or creating unnecessary requirements that artificially drive up cost. Too many designers do not understand these basic concepts. An engineering drawing is a contract between the supplier and customer to provide parts as documented. There must be a single source of model information tying together part models, assemblies, and drawings. I am an experienced modeler for milling & turning, sheet metal development and programming, additive manufacturing, rigid and flexible piping routing, cable routing, 2D to 3D electronics layout translation, mechanical interface control, assemblies, and test configurations. My documentation is accurate and concise. It provides full definition of the parts and assemblies without adding unnecessary constraints and notes that only make things more difficult and artificially drive up cost. I take pride in the quality of my work, because My name is being associated with it. I have an SCI (Secure Compartmentalized Information) vetted background check active through 2026. I have had multiple top secret security clearances (inactive). "True genius is not knowing everything, it is knowing where to Find everything." Albert Einstein "Science fiction becomes science fact."
