At Bosch, I worked for around 3 years on software and hardware systems for testing and calibrating inertial sensors. The work started in laboratory test environments and later moved into production-related calibration and validation workflows once the concepts were proven. These tools were used by technicians in real test and production workflows, where reliability, clear UI, correct data handling and reducing operator mistakes were important. In one product case, the related process improvements contributed to increasing production yield from around 68% to 91%.
