I am a photographer of many things. I graduated with a degree in Visual Journalism from the University of Miami and worked as a Photo Editor in Door County, Wisconsin, a Media Strategist in Chicago, and as an Archivist at The National World War II Museum in New Orleans before turning to freelance self-employment. I am the creator and director of The Sexism Project, a portrait and interview series featuring the stories of music industry professionals and sex workers in New Orleans and their experiences with sexism. I also helped to co-found Feed The Front Line NOLA, a grassroots effort born at the onset of the pandemic, to buy meals from closed local restaurants and hire laid-off musicians and artists to deliver the food to overworked area hospitals. I am currently the Associate Photo Editor at Antigravity Magazine and my photographs have been published by Forbes, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Times-Picayune, NBC Chicago, and the World Wildlife Fund, amongst others. Most recently, I have shot for Southerly, where my work focused on the New Orleans hopper strike and disaster recovery in Lake Charles, Louisiana following Hurricanes Laura and Delta, the latter of which was supported by a grant from the Pulitzer Center. I am based in New Orleans and Chicago and will travel anywhere.
