I’m a designer and illustrator, and I enjoy both digital and traditional art. I love mixing, blending, and experimenting to explore the many ways of conveying ideas. I immerse myself fully in each project because I strongly believe that understanding the roots is essential to truly communicate what we want. I have a degree in Classical Languages, which means that I am a Latin and Ancient Greek-Spanish translator. In addition, I studied Italian for several years -level B2 certified-, so I can translate Italian-Spanish. I have advanced knowledge of English, so I can translate English-Spanish and now I am learning Korean (yes, I am in love with Korean cinema). Of course, other than *TRANSLATOR*, I could be *TRANSCRIBER* and *COPYEDITOR* of texts in all the above-mentioned languages. I recently finished the Master in History and Digital Humanities at the Pablo de Olavide University (Spain), where I basically learned not only about tools and methods for digital pedagogy and research but the need of improve our understanding about the role of the digital today. This academic background also means that I have experience as an *RESEARCHER*. In the case of the degree in Philology, I have worked in the area of philosophy of history in Medieval Latin. This allowed me to understand that the world of classical antiquity and the Middle Ages are rich sources of remarkable influence on later cultural contexts. In this field I learned to use Zotero as a bibliographic citation management tool. As for the master's degree, I conducted a research about digital methodologies for the development of Philology in the Global South, to improve access and sharing worldwide, considering the digital divide. Now, I am working as *CAPTIONER & TEMPLATE CREATOR* in all the languages mentioned above. Take as an example the video of Mistero Buffo of Dario Fo, with Spanish and English subtitles, that you can find in my profile. I usually worked with Subtitle Edit, an open source software with a lot of potential. My current interest, for which I took a specialization course, is subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing. I am constantly updating my tools and approach to make audiovisual material accessible to everyone. Moreover, due to several years of work in organizing conferences and workshops, I have developed skills in managing and maintaining wordpress websites and a respectable level of skills in: - Office package (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software). - Mail management tools (Thunderbird) and mass mailing platforms (Fleetmailer, Mailchimp). - Multi-platform cloud file hosting services such as Google Drive, Dropbox and Onedrive.
