The two-second version: I'm a UI/UX designer who focuses on one thing: paywalls and onboarding for subscription mobile apps. I recently took an app called Purpose from a 24% conversion rate (the industry average) up to a 58% peak and 40% sustained. For Neurolist, a single paywall redesign took them from 18% to 24%. Before going solo I spent years at a CRO agency working on projects for Upwork, Netflix, Podium, Lowe's, Gusto, and CrowdStrike, so I think about design in terms of what moves the number, not just what looks good. The longer version: Hey, I'm Saga. Most subscription apps lose the majority of their users in the first 90 seconds — almost always at onboarding or the paywall. That's the part of the product I care about most, and it's what I've ended up specializing in. The way I approach onboarding isn't a generic "welcome, here's how the app works" walkthrough. It's a flow that takes the user from their pain, to their current situation, to where they want to be, and then to feeling confident the app can get them there. By the time they hit the paywall, they're not being sold to, they're being offered the thing they already decided they want.
