Automation Engineer, Make.com + Airtable + Python (Full-Time, Long-Term)

About us Etherwise is an AI & Automation agency based in Pune, India. We design and ship production automations for SaaS, sales ops, lead-gen, and AI voice clients across the US, UK, and India. We're hiring a strong Automation Engineer to join the team full-time and grow with us as we scale. What you'll do - Design and build automation workflows in Make.com and n8n for client systems - Architect Airtable bases data modeling, scripting extensions, automations, interfaces - Write Python scripts where no-code hits a wall (API integrations, data transforms, custom logic) - Use Claude Code + other AI tools to ship faster we're an AI-native team - Document your work cleanly so the team can build on it Must-haves - 2+ years building production Make.com automations (not toy demos, real systems with branching, error handling, webhooks) - Strong Airtable: base design, scripting extension, formulas, interfaces - Comfortable writing Python for integrations, scripts, data manipulation - Clear written and spoken English (most clients are US/UK) Nice-to-haves - You actively use Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants this is how we work - Experience with Vapi, GoHighLevel, n8n - Built things on top of LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) Compensation - ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month depending on experience Paid via Upwork on a weekly basis - 6-monthly performance review with revisions tied to output, ownership, and impact Commitment Full-time, ~40 hours/week Mon–Fri, fully remote, IST hours Long-term role we're hiring this person to grow inside Etherwise How to apply Start your proposal with the word "AUTOMATE" so I know you've read this.
