California Employment Attorney Needed for Production / Live Event Workforce Compliance Review

We are seeking a California labor and employment attorney with experience advising companies in the production, entertainment, live event, experiential, media, or similar project-based industries. We are looking for practical legal guidance related to workforce onboarding, project-based hiring, and compliance processes for a crew/vendor roster model. The ideal attorney should understand the operational realities of industries where teams are assembled on a per-project or per-event basis, often using third-party payroll, production payroll, or employer-of-record style platforms. We would like assistance with: Reviewing our current onboarding and workforce compliance process Advising on improvements to our paperwork, agreements, and internal workflow Reviewing language for a public-facing roster or talent/crew application post Providing practical guidance around worker engagement structures commonly used in production and events Helping us create a clear internal framework for future onboarding and compliance decisions Ideal Background Please apply only if you have relevant experience with some or all of the following: California employment law Production, entertainment, live events, experiential, media, agency, or crew-based industries Project-based or short-term workforce models Third-party payroll, production payroll, or EOR-style platforms Worker classification and onboarding compliance Multi-state workforce considerations Employment agreements, contractor agreements, onboarding documents, and job/roster posting language We are especially interested in attorneys who have worked with clients in industries where staffing is handled on a project-by-project basis rather than through a traditional full-time employee model.
