Dutch Audio Transcription Annotator (Long-Term Project)

Job Description We are seeking native or fluent Dutch speakers to join our team as Audio Transcription Annotators for a long-term transcription project. The task involves transcribing both short and long audio recordings. Audio clip lengths may vary depending on the assignment. Trial Assessment (Mandatory) Before joining the main project, all applicants must complete a transcription quality assessment. Please note: This is a trial task only. The trial audio duration will generally be less than 5 minutes. Only candidates who successfully pass the quality assessment will be invited to participate in the main project. Detailed instructions, guidelines, and sample files will be provided before the trial begins. Task Details Transcription Type: Assisted Transcription Model-generated pre-recognized text will be provided for each audio file. Annotators are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and finalizing the transcription according to the project guidelines. The pre-recognized text may contain errors or omissions and should not be assumed to be accurate. Strong listening skills and native-level language understanding are essential. Compensation A fixed-price contract of $5 will be created for onboarding and hiring purposes. Upon successfully passing the transcription assessment and officially joining the project, payment will be based on project deliverables: Rate: USD $50 per valid audio hour transcribed Candidates who do not meet the required quality standards during the assessment will not be eligible for project participation or payment. Requirements Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch Excellent listening and transcription skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow transcription guidelines carefully Reliable internet connection and availability for long-term collaboration How to Apply Please include the following information in your application: Confirmation that you are a native or fluent Dutch speaker.
