Embedded Hardware Engineer for Custom Automotive CAN Bus Sniffer & Logger

The Project: I am seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design a custom, high-reliability CAN bus sniffing and logging device. This hardware will be used to capture and record real-time data from automotive and industrial CAN networks. Scope of Work: Schematic Design: Design a circuit around a microcontroller. CAN Interface: Integrate high-speed CAN transceivers with proper termination and ESD protection (CAN 2.0B / CAN FD). PCB Layout: Create a compact, multi-layer PCB optimized for signal integrity and EMI/EMC compliance. Deliverables: Full EDA source files (Schematic & PCB). Production-ready Gerber/Drill files and Assembly drawings. Complete Bill of Materials (BOM) with LCSC/DigiKey part numbers. Basic firmware/code for hardware validation 1st stage working prototype Requirements: Proven experience in automotive or industrial hardware design. Strong communication and ability to provide a "Bring Up" guide for the first prototype.
