About the Role We're seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help bring structure, accountability, and operational excellence to a growing company with fewer than 20 team members. This is not a corporate management role. We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, improving systems, and helping a small business scale effectively. You'll work directly with the founder and leadership team to improve operations, implement processes, establish KPIs, and ensure the business can grow without chaos. ## What You'll Do * Evaluate current business operations and identify areas for improvement * Build and optimize systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures * Develop accountability frameworks and performance metrics * Improve team communication, alignment, and execution * Assist with hiring, organizational design, and leadership development * Establish reporting systems and operational dashboards * Help leadership prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively * Drive operational efficiency across all departments * Create scalable processes that support long-term growth ## What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a COO, Fractional COO, Integrator, Operations Director, or similar leadership role * Experience working with small businesses, startups, or founder-led companies * Strong understanding of business operations, systems, and process improvement * Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution * Excellent leadership and communication skills * Experience implementing KPIs, dashboards, and accountability systems * Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with limited bureaucracy ## Ideal Candidate You enjoy helping businesses move from founder-dependent to systems-driven. You've successfully helped companies improve efficiency, increase accountability, and create operational structures that support growth. You're practical, decisive, and focused on execution—not just strategy.
