Freelance Graphic & Squarespace Web Designer (Agency Partner)

About Us & The Project We are MMPR Marketing, a leading marketing agency based in Arizona. We work with top-tier clients in the hospitality, development, and retail sectors to deliver high-impact brand development, website design, and digital marketing. We are currently recruiting for an in-house designer, but we need an incredibly sharp, fast, and reliable freelance designer to step in immediately to help manage our creative queue. For the right freelancer, this could evolve into an ongoing overflow relationship even after our full-time hire is made. We move fast, think creatively, and are serious about results. What You'll Do Execute diverse deliverables: Create logos, branding, merchandise, menus, digital ads, social graphics, newsletters, and pitch/sales decks. Own Squarespace web design: Build and maintain client websites. You need deep platform fluency to move fast, troubleshoot, and customize confidently. Brand management: Move fluidly between multiple clients daily, adapting your creative approach to keep each client’s distinct brand voice consistent. Collaborate seamlessly: Work directly with our account management team to receive briefs, ask the right questions upfront, and deliver finished work that rarely requires a second pass. Be a proactive partner: Flag missing assets before they become a bottleneck and suggest better creative solutions when you see them. What "Great" Looks Like for This Engagement You manage your time ruthlessly: You know the difference between a project that needs deep creative investment and one that needs to ship clean and fast. If a task is budgeted for one hour, you don't spend four. Your work is custom: Fresh, on-brand, and tailored. No generic templates. You are a communication pro: You ask questions early and keep us updated on your bandwidth. Your files are immaculate: Clean, organized, and production-ready. Every single time. You don't need hand-holding: You have the professional judgment to know when to run something by us and when to just make an executive design decision and keep moving. Required Skills & Experience 3 to 5+ years of professional graphic design experience (agency or multi-client freelancer experience is highly preferred). Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite skills: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. (Figma/UI/UX tools are a plus). Deep, working knowledge of Squarespace (not just basic familiarity). Strong typography, layout, and composition skills across both print and digital formats. Ability to overlap with US Mountain Standard Time (MST) business hours for communication and file handoffs.
