Fulfillment Manager/ Operations Specialist

Shopify Fulfillment Operations - Supplier/Order Follow-Up Workflow We run a Shopify ecommerce store in the automotive aftermarket space. We use multiple suppliers, including alternative suppliers, and need help fixing fulfillment operations quickly. Current issues: - Orders can be missed or not followed up on. - Fulfillment KPIs/SLA are not consistently followed. - Some processes are manual. - Alternative supplier routing creates confusion. - We need better visibility into delayed/stuck orders. We are looking for an experienced ecommerce fulfillment operations specialist to complete a 1–2 week cleanup sprint. Deliverables: - Audit current Shopify/order fulfillment workflow. - Build a daily exception dashboard for unfulfilled, delayed, no-tracking, and supplier-risk orders. - Create supplier routing/SLA rules. - Create SOPs for daily fulfillment review, supplier follow-up, customer updates, and escalation. - Help clean up current stuck order backlog. - Train our internal team to run the process daily. Experience required: - 1yr+ Shopify fulfillment operations - Multi-supplier or dropship workflows - Order aging / exception management - SOP and dashboard creation - Google Sheets, Airtable, ClickUp, or similar - Strong written communication (comment cars if you see this) Please include examples of fulfillment workflows you’ve built.
