Guangzhou Apparel Sourcing Agent Needed for Factory & Fabric Market Tour

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced apparel sourcing agent based in Guangzhou, China to help organise a 2 to 3 day sourcing trip in mid July for a premium womenswear brand from Australia. We are looking for someone with strong experience in garment manufacturing, small-batch production, low MOQs (30 units), fabric sourcing and factory vetting. Our brand focuses on elevated capsule womenswear, including: Tailored trousers Shirting Elevated tops Premium wardrobe staples We are especially looking for factories that can support premium finishing, good construction, accurate grading and small-batch production. Our ideal first order MOQ is around 30 to 50 units per style, with potential to grow to 50 to 100+ units per style in the next year. Scope of work: Organise a 2 to 3 day sourcing itinerary in Guangzhou Visit Zhongda Fabric Market and suitable trim suppliers Identify and arrange visits with small MOQ garment factories Translate during factory and supplier meetings Help negotiate MOQs, sample fees, timelines and pricing Help assess factory quality, communication and reliability Provide a written summary after the tour Potentially assist with sampling, QC and shipping after the trip Ideal candidate: Based in Guangzhou or very familiar with Guangzhou garment/fabric markets Can recommend a list of sustainable, small MOQ factories Experience with womenswear, trousers, shirting or premium apparel Strong English and Mandarin communication Has existing relationships with garment factories and fabric suppliers Understands tech packs, sampling, grading, quality control and export production Comfortable working with small brands and low MOQs Transparent about fees and whether they receive commission from factories Please include in your application: Your experience with apparel sourcing in Guangzhou Examples of similar brands or products you have sourced Whether you can organise visits to low MOQ garment factories Whether you can guide us through Zhongda Fabric Market Your fee for a 2 to 3 day sourcing tour Whether you can assist after the trip with sampling, QC and shipping Whether you are independent or receive commission from suppliers/factories We are not looking for the cheapest mass-production option.
