Role Description Answer and log every incoming call, no exceptions, tracking caller info, source, and outcome using Google Sheets Receive and manage all calls through the Dialpad platform Conduct full client intake interviews for qualifying prospects and complete detailed intake documentation Maintain accurate records across our call tracking system and intake files Flag urgent or time sensitive matters immediately and communicate clearly with attorneys and staff on case status and follow ups Send a daily check in email reviewing viable cases and summarizing all logged calls Submit client onboarding documents, collect signatures, and ensure everything is stored in the correct file What You Need Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in legal intake; civil rights or plaintiff side experience a plus This is a must: extremely detail oriented and highly organized. Small mistakes can cause big issues for our clients, including documents that aren't filed properly with the state Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail); comfortable learning new call and CRM tools quickly Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally Reliable and self directed, able to work independently with minimal oversight Based in or working East Coast hours (Eastern Time) Comfort working with confidential information and adherence to legal and firm policies Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred but not required High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, communications, or a related field is a plus
