NJ Licensed Architect Needed for Residential Work (Morris, Essex, and Union Counties)

We are a boutique high-end residential remodeling contractor based in Chatham, NJ seeking a licensed New Jersey architect for ongoing project work. This is not a one-time engagement — we're looking to build a reliable working relationship with the right person. What we do: Interior and exterior remodeling scopes — bathrooms, kitchens, additions, structural modifications, exterior alterations. We do not build new homes. What we need from you: Active NJ architect license in good standing Ability to produce full permit-ready drawing sets (existing conditions, proposed plans, elevations, details as required by municipality) Comfortable working directly with a GC and communicating with local building departments in Morris, Essex, and Union Counties Responsive turnaround — our clients are on project timelines and we need a partner who moves Typical project scope: Residential remodels ranging from single-room renovations to whole-house projects Occasional structural modifications requiring stamped drawings Projects are in Chatham, Summit, Millburn, Madison, Short Hills, Westfield, and surrounding towns How we work: You'll be brought in early on projects where architectural drawings are required for permitting. We handle all client management and project execution — we need you for the technical and stamped deliverables.
