Summary

Litigation Paralegal Expert (Relativity + Westlaw Edge) Engagement: roughly 8 to 12 weeks, 4 to 12 hrs/week, remote We're looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to help design and validate realistic litigation-support workflows for an AI simulation environment. The role spans the full matter — connecting the document set in Relativity to the legal research and filing work in Westlaw and beyond. The ideal SME has hands-on paralegal experience supporting active litigation and can work comfortably in both Relativity (document organization, production support, exhibit prep) and Westlaw Edge (cite-checking, pulling authority, KeyCite validation). We want someone who can explain how the pieces connect: how a document found in review becomes an exhibit, how a case cite gets validated before a filing, and what the handoffs to the attorney look like. You'd validate task ideas, review workflows for realism, flag missing data sources, and share practical workflows — assembling and Bates-checking productions, building exhibit lists, cite-checking and KeyCite validation of briefs, pulling and organizing authority, calendaring deadlines, and preparing filing-ready document sets. Good fit if you can answer: What would a real paralegal do to complete this task, and where does it hand off to the attorney? Which Relativity and Westlaw screens, reports, or exports would they use at each step? What does a correct, filing-ready final output look like? What would make the workflow unrealistic or too shallow? Screener questions What litigation tools have you worked in, and how recently? (Relativity, Westlaw, Lexis, a case/docket system, etc.) What was/is your role — litigation paralegal, e-discovery/litigation-support paralegal, or legal assistant — and at a firm, in-house, or agency?
