Looking for a tech/startups video script writer (Specifically video script writing)

We're a video production company that creates polished, high-impact videos for tech and B2B clients — product launch videos, customer testimonials, brand stories, and explainers. We're looking for a talented freelance scriptwriter to join our roster on an ongoing basis. If you can turn a product brief into a crisp, compelling script that works on screen — not just on paper — we want to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL BE WRITING • Product launch / tech launch videos (60–120 sec): Scripts that translate features into benefits, build excitement, and have a clear CTA. Audience ranges from developer-focused to C-suite. • Customer testimonial videos (60–90 sec): Guided scripts that feel natural and authentic. You'll shape a problem → solution → outcome arc that doesn't sound like an ad. • Occasionally: brand anthems, explainers, event recap videos. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Proven experience writing scripts specifically for video — not blog posts, not ad copy, video scripts with speaker cues and timing awareness. • A portfolio with at least 2–3 samples of product/tech/B2B video scripts (or links to finished videos you scripted). • Understanding of how copy works on screen: short sentences, natural spoken language, punchy openers. • Ability to work from a creative brief and ask smart questions — not just wait for all the answers. • Fast turnaround. Most scripts are 1–2 pages; we typically need a first draft in 3–5 business days.
