Manual WCAG 2.1 AA Accessibility Audit for 5-Page Marketing Website (Financial Services)

We're preparing to launch a new marketing website, currently on a staging environment. No accessibility testing has been performed on this build to date, so we need an experienced specialist to conduct a comprehensive, fully manual WCAG 2.1 AA audit to establish a complete baseline of conformance issues prior to launch. The site is small and mostly static: 5 pages (Home, Investments, Impact, Team, Contact). It includes an autoplaying hero video, five embedded videos on one page, expandable team bios, and a contact form that will be added before launch. Because this is an untested build, we expect the audit to surface issues across the full range of success criteria, and we want them documented thoroughly rather than sampled. Scope of work: - Comprehensive manual audit of all 5 pages against every applicable WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criterion - Screen reader testing (JAWS, NVDA, and/or VoiceOver) - Keyboard-only navigation testing, including focus visibility, tab order, and keyboard traps - Color contrast verification for text and non-text elements (1.4.3, 1.4.11) - Zoom/reflow testing at 200% and 320px width (1.4.4, 1.4.10) - Evaluation of all video content for autoplay behavior, pause controls, and caption requirements (1.2.2, 2.2.2, 1.4.2) - Semantic structure review: headings, landmarks, link purpose, accessible names - Review of the contact form once live (labels, error identification, validation) Deliverables: - Full written audit report documenting every issue found, mapped to its WCAG success criterion, with severity rating and affected pages/components - Code-level remediation guidance our developer can act on directly - An executive summary suitable for internal stakeholders - Re-test passes after remediation to verify resolution Requirements: - Demonstrated experience with comprehensive manual WCAG 2.1 AA audits (please share a sample or redacted report) - Hands-on assistive technology testing experience, not just automated scans - Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript sufficient to provide actionable remediation guidance - CPACC, WAS, or IAAP certification a plus but not required Please note: We are NOT looking for automated-scan-only reports (Lighthouse, WAVE, or axe exports) or accessibility overlay/widget solutions. Automated tools catch only a fraction of WCAG violations; we are engaging an expert specifically for the manual testing that automation cannot replicate. Proposals offering overlays will be declined.
