Proofreading Chinese Translation of Elementary School Handbook

We are creating an elementary school family handbook for a new school opening in Flushing, Queens, and are seeking a native Simplified Chinese speaker to review and proofread an existing Chinese translation. The handbook has already been translated from English into Simplified Chinese. We are looking for a translator/proofreader who can carefully review the translation, identify any inaccuracies or awkward phrasing, and provide edits to ensure the language is clear, natural, and culturally appropriate for Chinese-speaking families in New York City. Requirements: * Native proficiency in Simplified Chinese * Strong proofreading and editing skills * Experience reviewing educational, family-facing, or community-focused materials * Familiarity with language commonly used by Chinese-speaking families in the NYC area, preferably Queens or Flushing Deliverables: * Review the existing Simplified Chinese translation * Provide edits, corrections, and recommendations as needed * Ensure the tone is warm, professional, and appropriate for an elementary school family handbook Please include any relevant translation or proofreading experience, particularly for education, nonprofit, community, or family-facing materials.
