ABOUT CLARUS LEARN Clarus Learn provides cybersecurity, data privacy, AI governance, and regulatory compliance education designed specifically for executives, boards of directors, and business leaders. Through eLearning programs and virtual workshops, we help organizations strengthen governance, reduce risk, and improve compliance readiness. We are seeking a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a proven track record of outbound prospecting, lead generation, and converting prospects into qualified sales opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-oriented, and experienced in engaging executive-level decision-makers. ________________________________________ POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through strategic outbound outreach, lead qualification, and pipeline development. This role will focus on identifying and engaging executives, board members, compliance leaders, legal counsel, industry associations, and organizational decision-makers who can benefit from Clarus Learn's training solutions. This is a part-time position requiring 10 hours per week, working from home. You'll supply your own computer, phone, internet and related items. The compensation is base hourly rate pus commissions & incentives, which are designed to compensate you very well if you are a good sales person. The SDR will leverage multiple channels, including email, phone, LinkedIn, webinars, and referral outreach to build relationships and schedule qualified meetings. ________________________________________ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prospecting & Lead Generation • Lead Qualification & Meeting Generation • Pipeline Management & Follow-Up • Sales Tracking & Reporting ________________________________________ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE • 3+ years of successful experience as an SDR, BDR, Inside Sales Representative, or similar sales role. • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and lead generation. • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales development goals. • Experience selling B2B services, SaaS, training, compliance, cybersecurity, technology, or professional services solutions preferred. SKILLS • You have the drive to enthusiastically be contacting 50-100 executives every week. • Having the guts, personality and intellect to comfortably talk with business executives. • Must be highly proficient with sales tools, Linkedin, MS Outlook, Word, PPT and Excel. • You must have fluent & excellent English verbal & writing skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience selling cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, governance, risk management, AI governance, or executive education solutions. • Familiarity with board governance and executive training markets. ________________________________________ IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE You are a hunter who enjoys opening doors and creating opportunities. You thrive on outbound prospecting, are comfortable speaking with senior executives, and know how to convert cold prospects into meaningful sales conversations. You are driven by results, resilient in the face of rejection, and motivated by helping organizations solve important business challenges. We are looking for someone who loves selling. Do not apply if you don’t thrive in “smiling and dialing”. In addition, you must have strong computer skills and an ability to learn fast. Experience with cybersecurity is a plus. COMPENSATION Base hourly pay of $25/hr + commission & incentives. A good sales person should make $1000-$2000 extra per month.
