Senior AI Automation Engineer / Systems Architect

n8n, OpenAI, GoHighLevel, Slack, and API Integrations About the Project I’m the founder of several growing businesses, including: ALCD Systems, our software platform for licensed care providers Care Operator Blueprint, an education and coaching company Entrepreneur Advantage Hub Additional businesses operating under one parent company I want to create a connected operating system that brings together our AI tools, employees, virtual assistants, software, and automations. This is not a chatbot project, and I’m not looking for someone who only builds basic automations. I need an experienced person who can evaluate what we already have, recommend the right approach, and build the foundation for a system that can grow with our companies. What I’m Building My long-term goal is to use AI in different areas of the business, including: Executive and operational support Sales Client success Marketing Human resources Compliance Finance These AI assistants should be able to share information, start workflows, flag problems, and support our team when needed. The goal is to reduce bottlenecks and help the business operate more efficiently—not to replace the human team. I want to build this in practical stages, beginning with a strong and manageable first version. Current Software We currently use: ALCD Systems, our proprietary software platform GoHighLevel Slack Google Workspace OpenAI Claude Base44 for internal tools Various APIs and webhooks We may add Supabase or other supporting tools if there is a clear reason to do so. What I Need I’m looking for someone who can: Review our current systems and workflows Recommend a practical system design Connect our software through APIs and webhooks Build reliable automations using n8n Connect our AI tools with the software our team already uses Create workflows that can grow with the businesses Document what is built in clear, understandable language Recommend appropriate security and data-access controls Help plan future phases without overbuilding the first version I value dependable, practical solutions over unnecessary complexity. Required Experience You should have strong, hands-on experience with: n8n API integrations and webhooks OpenAI and Claude APIs Slack integrations GoHighLevel Databases such as Supabase or PostgreSQL AI-powered workflow automation Designing and documenting connected business systems Experience with multi-agent systems, LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP, Docker, or vector databases is helpful, but not required. I care more about your ability to build a reliable system than the number of tools you can list. First Phase The first phase will focus on building the foundation and proving that the approach works. Expected deliverables include: A review of our existing systems A recommended design and explanation of how the pieces will work together Connections between the most important software platforms At least one useful, working AI-supported workflow Clear documentation A roadmap for future phases If the first phase goes well, I would like to continue working with the same person to improve and expand the system over time. Communication I appreciate proactive communication and honest recommendations. If there is a better or simpler way to accomplish something, I want you to explain it. I prefer working with someone who can discuss technical topics in plain English and who is comfortable collaborating on a long-term project.
