Shopify Marketing & Growth Specialist

Im Looking for a hands-on Shopify marketing and growth specialist who can run our digital marketing end-to-end — from optimizing our store and product listings to managing ad campaigns and analyzing performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify's ecosystem and be able to drive traffic and sales through effective marketing strategies. I'm looking for a highly skilled freelancer or agency to help grow our brand. I want to build a long-term partnership with a dedicated partner who is willing to share in the success of the brand. Upfront Base: We have a fixed budget of ($300) for the initial launch/set-up phase. Performance Tier: We are looking for a partner who does not require heavy upfront fees but is highly motivated by a "performance fee" model. We want to compensate you based on a percentage of monthly revenue or net profit generated by your work. Key Responsibilities Store & Product Optimization - Audit and optimize Shopify store: UX, navigation, and conversion rate (CRO) - Write and refine compelling product titles, descriptions, and SEO meta tags - Improve product imagery recommendations and layout for higher add-to-cart rates - Set up and optimize collections, upsells, cross-sells, and bundles - Monitor and improve site speed, mobile experience, and checkout flow Paid Advertising & Campaigns - Plan, launch, and manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns - Run and optimize Google Shopping and Search campaigns - Build retargeting audiences and manage full-funnel ad strategies - Track ROAS, CAC, and other key metrics — report results clearly and regularly - A/B test ad creatives Email & Retention Marketing - Set up or optimize Klaviyo (or similar) email flows: welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase - Plan and execute promotional email and SMS campaigns - Grow and segment our subscriber list SEO & Organic Growth - Develop and execute an on-site SEO strategy for product and collection pages - Identify keyword opportunities in the pet/dog niche - Support content marketing and blog strategy as needed Requirements - 3+ years of hands-on Shopify e-commerce marketing experience - Proven track record managing paid ads (Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads) with demonstrable - - ROAS results - Strong understanding of Shopify store optimization, CRO, and product SEO - Experience with Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform - Data-driven mindset — you make decisions based on analytics, not guesses - Excellent written English and clear communication skills - Ability to work independently and take ownership of results - Portfolio or case studies showing measurable growth outcomes Nice to Have - Experience in the pet, outdoor, or lifestyle product niche - Familiarity with TikTok Ads or influencer/UGC, carousel and static ads, campaign management - Graphic design skills or experience briefing ad creatives - Knowledge of Shopify apps Engagement Details please include the following in your proposal: A brief intro and why you're the right fit for Elevation Dog Co. 2–3 examples of Shopify stores you've marketed, with specific results (revenue growth, ROAS, conversion rate improvements, etc.) Your approach to the first 30 days: what would you prioritize and why?
