Sound Designer Needed, Dark Fiction Narrated Audiobook (~60 min) We are producing Rot Crown, an original dark fiction audiobook series set in a dystopian Victorian Britain. We need a sound designer to add atmospheric ambient sound effects to a pre-recorded narration of approximately 60 minutes. What the job involves: The script already contains ~15 sound cue notes indicating exactly where effects are needed and what type (e.g. rain on cobblestones, distant train whistle, dripping water, a single gunshot echo). Your job is to source or create those effects and mix them cleanly under the narration. No continuous background music is required only sparse, atmospheric sound design. Deliverables: Final mixed audio file (WAV or high-quality MP3) Clean, balanced output ready for YouTube upload Requirements: Experience with audio post-production for fiction, podcast, or audiobook Ability to create or source dark, atmospheric ambient sound effects Clean, professional mix the narration must always remain clear and dominant Budget: Fixed price, $50–$70 Please include samples of previous audio post-production or sound design work, preferably in a dark or atmospheric style.
