WPML / WooCommerce Translation Specialist

We are looking for an experienced WordPress / WooCommerce / WPML specialist to help us expand our multilingual website. Our website is currently available in Dutch and German, and we now want to add English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish using WPML. About the website - Platform: WordPress + WooCommerce - Current languages: Dutch (default) and German - New target languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish - Translation setup: WPML - Website type: commercial brand / WooCommerce website with products, pages, categories, menus, and possibly theme/plugin strings What we need We are looking for someone who can: - Review our current WPML setup and multilingual structure - Set up the correct workflow for adding 5 new languages - Translate or prepare translation workflows for: - Pages - WooCommerce products - Product categories and attributes - Navigation menus - Theme and plugin strings - WooCommerce-related texts and emails where needed - Ensure that SEO basics are handled correctly per language - Check language switcher, URLs, internal links, and general consistency - Test the translated versions and fix issues where content is missing or broken - Advise us on the best long-term workflow for maintaining translations when Dutch content is updated Important We do not just want a one-time translation upload. We want a clean, scalable WPML workflow that allows us to manage future updates efficiently. Preferred profile - Strong experience with WPML - Strong experience with WooCommerce multilingual websites - Familiar with translating theme strings, plugin strings, and WooCommerce content - Able to work in a structured way and document the setup - Good communication in English Nice to have - Experience with multilingual SEO - Experience improving translation workflows for growing WooCommerce brands - Ability to combine automatic translation, manual review, and quality control When applying Please include: 1.
