# NeuroDiverse Finance Website Development ## Summary NeuroDiverse Finance is a charity focused on providing free financial literacy coaching to individuals with special needs. It is seeking an experienced WordPress developer/designer to build and launch a professional, modern, accessible nonprofit website focused on financial education for neurodivergent individuals and families. The website should function as an operating platform for the organization and support programs, educational resources, events, partners, ambassadors, media, impact reporting, and future geographic expansion. ## Budget $700 flat fee ## Platform * WordPress template based Two templates being considered (client will pay) 1. https://startersites.io/blocksy/charity/ 2.https://goodwish.qodeinteractive.com/elementor/ecology-home/ * Elementor or Elementor Pro * Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile design * Accessible and easy for NeuroDiverse Finance staff to update * Use of established WordPress plugins and reusable content structures where appropriate * Website should be structured so future content, programs, events, partners, ambassadors, and cities can be added without rebuilding the site **NeuroDiverse Finance will select and purchase the WordPress template/theme separately. The developer will use and customize the selected template as the foundation for constructing the website. The cost of the template/theme is separate from the developer's fee.** ## Main Website Features The website should include: * Professional homepage with mission, programs, audiences, partners, events, resources, impact, and calls to action * Participant and family information and registration * Educational Learn section * Searchable and filterable resource library * Family resources and planning information * Partner information, profiles, inquiry forms, and meeting requests * Public Student Ambassador Network information, applications, profiles, city participation, event proposals, and reporting * Events calendar with registration, capacity, confirmations, waitlists, and event management * Podcast, video, and webinar content * Newsletter signup and archive * Blog, news, and organizational updates * Impact dashboard with approved statistics * Impact reports and annual/quarterly reporting sections * City and regional program pages * Program/city map showing approved areas where NeuroDiverse Finance operates * Founder, board, adviser, reviewer, and other organizational profiles * Organization history/timeline * Policies, disclosures, safeguarding, accessibility, privacy, and educational-boundary information * Donation and sponsorship information * Expert/professional interest form * General contact forms * Recognition, research, and media section * Website-wide search ## Resource Library The resource library should allow users to search and filter educational materials by appropriate categories such as: * Topic * Audience * Age or life stage * Learning/support level * Format Resources may include lessons, worksheets, activities, videos, podcasts, webinars, checklists, guides, presentations, and downloadable materials. Administrators must be able to add, edit, feature, update, archive, and remove resources without developer assistance. ## Events The website should support multiple types of events, including: * Workshops * Webinars * Family events * Ambassador events * Partner events * Educational events * Deadlines and other organizational events Event functionality should support appropriate information such as date, time, location, audience, city, presenter, registration, capacity, status, and related resources. The homepage should be able to display the next approved upcoming event automatically. ## Student Ambassador Network The website should support: * Public program information * Eligibility and responsibilities * Ambassador applications * Parent/guardian, sponsor, and reference information where required * Application review and status management * Approved public ambassador profiles * Ambassador levels or roles * City assignments * Event proposal submissions * Post-event and periodic reporting * Private handling of non-public ambassador information Ambassador applications and proposed events must require approval before being publicly displayed. ## Partners and Cities Partner functionality should support: * Partner information and program descriptions * Partner profiles * Inquiry and meeting-request forms * Related events and impact information City functionality should support Houston, Fort Bend County, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and future approved locations. Administrators must be able to add new cities and control whether a city is publicly shown as active. ## Forms and Registrations The website should support forms and registrations for appropriate activities such as: * Participants and families * Events and workshops * Newsletter signup * Partner inquiries * Ambassador applications * Ambassador event proposals and reporting * Expert/professional inquiries * General contact Forms should include appropriate confirmations, notifications, privacy language, validation, accessibility, and administrator management. Private submissions and personal information must remain restricted to authorized users. ## Media and Publishing The website should support publishing and organizing: * Podcasts * Videos * Webinar recordings * Blog posts * News and updates * Newsletter issues * Reports * Educational resources Content should be searchable, categorized where appropriate, and manageable by NeuroDiverse Finance staff. ## Impact The website should support editable impact statistics such as: * Participants served * Sessions delivered * Partner locations * Ambassadors * Events * Cities served * Other approved outcome measures Only information approved by NeuroDiverse Finance should be published. The site should also support publication of annual reports, quarterly reports, program reports, financial information, and other approved organizational reports. ## About and Governance The website should include appropriate pages or profiles for: * Mission and vision * Founder * Board * Advisers * Professional reviewers * Youth leadership * Organization history * Contact information * Policies and disclosures Public content must clearly distinguish youth leadership from organizational or professional oversight and must not imply credentials or professional services that NeuroDiverse Finance does not provide. ## Accessibility and Design The website should be designed toward **WCAG 2.2 Level AA** and should be: * Professional and modern * Welcoming and easy to navigate * Appropriate for neurodivergent users * Mobile responsive * Keyboard accessible * Screen-reader friendly * Clear and uncluttered * Easy to scan * Consistent in layout and navigation The design should use clear typography, strong contrast, appropriate spacing, large touch targets, limited motion, and accessible forms and media. ## Privacy and Educational Boundaries Private applications, reports, participant information, and other non-public information must remain protected. The website should avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive personal information. NeuroDiverse Finance will provide or approve applicable privacy, safeguarding, educational-disclaimer, and policy language. Educational content must be presented as general education and must not imply individualized legal, tax, investment, insurance, benefits, medical, or other professional advice. ## Search, SEO, and Analytics The website should include: * Website-wide search * Search-engine-friendly page structure * Editable SEO titles and descriptions * Search-friendly URLs * Appropriate indexing controls * Basic structured data/schema where appropriate * Google Analytics * Google Search Console * Mobile and page-performance optimization Private and unpublished content should not appear in public search results. ## Security and Backups The website should include standard WordPress security and maintenance practices, including: * SSL * Appropriate administrator access controls * Spam protection * Login protection * Backups * WordPress, plugin, and theme update capability * Appropriate hosting-level security ## Administrative Management NeuroDiverse Finance staff must be able to manage normal website content without requiring a developer. This should include, as applicable: * Pages and posts * Resources * Events * Media * Partners * Board and adviser profiles * Ambassador profiles * Cities * Impact figures * Reports * Newsletter content * Forms * Homepage features * Navigation and footer content ## Testing and Launch Before launch, the developer should test the website across major browsers and desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Major website functions, forms, search, filters, event registration, permissions, accessibility, links, and integrations should be tested before launch. Critical issues should be corrected before the website goes live. ## Ownership NeuroDiverse Finance must own or directly control the website and its primary accounts and assets, including the domain, hosting, WordPress administrator access, website files, database, analytics accounts, and other organization-specific accounts. The selected WordPress template/theme will be purchased separately by NeuroDiverse Finance. ## Developer Responsibilities The developer will: * Construct and customize the website using the client-selected WordPress template * Organize and format approved content * Build required pages and reusable website structures * Configure forms, search, filtering, events, and other agreed functionality * Configure appropriate third-party integrations * Apply responsive and accessibility requirements * Enter the agreed amount of initial content * Test and launch the website The developer must not invent or independently publish statistics, testimonials, partners, credentials, photographs, participant stories, active city programs, or other unapproved organizational claims. ## Proposal Should Include Please include: * Relevant WordPress/Elementor experience * Examples of similar websites * Recommended technical approach * Estimated timeline * Total project cost * Payment schedule * Plugin/software costs * Hosting recommendation * Number of initial pages included * Amount of initial content entry included * Number of revisions included * Post-launch support * Optional maintenance cost * Any exclusions or features that would result in additional charges **The cost of the WordPress template/theme selected by NeuroDiverse Finance should not be included in the developer's project fee, as it will be purchased separately by the client.** ## Final Acceptance The website should be considered complete when NeuroDiverse Finance can use the primary functions described in this scope, update normal website content without developer assistance, and add future resources, events, media, ambassadors, partners, and approved cities without requiring a website rebuild.
