I work for Marsh and am responsible for my own revenue for my book of business. I run employer healthcare benefits consulting practice that helps employers fix what's broken in their health plans—runaway costs, opaque PBMs, and carrier incentives that don't serve the buyer. The demand for this is real and growing. My bottleneck is simple: I'm spending too much time prospecting and not enough time in front of decision-makers. I'm looking for someone to own my outbound and book qualified meetings on my calendar. You'd handle everything except LinkedIn (I keep that channel myself). Cold email, phone, and multi-channel follow-up are yours to run. What you'd own: -Building and refining target lists (employers—usually HR, Finance, CFO, CEO decision-makers) -Writing and sending cold email sequences that sound human and get replies -Cold calling and phone follow-up -Managing replies, handling objections, and scheduling -Booking qualified discovery meetings directly on my calendar -Reporting on what's working so we sharpen the system over time You're a strong fit if you: -Have a real track record booking B2B meetings through cold outbound (specifics, not "I've done sales") -Write email copy that gets responses -Are comfortable on the phone and don't dodge cold calls -Know your way around outreach tools (Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, HubSpot, dialers, etc.) -Are self-directed—I want to hand this off, not micromanage it Bonus points: -Experience selling into HR, benefits, healthcare, insurance, or directly to employers -You know how to talk to executives about cost and risk Pay: I'm open on structure and want something that aligns us. I'd consider a base (hourly or retainer) plus a bonus per qualified meeting, with a closed-deal bonus on top once we're rolling. In your reply, pitch me the structure you'd want and why—how you think about incentives tells me a lot. The bigger opportunity: This can be more than a contract. If we build a good rapport and you do strong work, I'm happy to train and educate you on the health plan and benefits industry—it's a high-value space most people never get exposure to, and you'd build a real, marketable skill set. For the right person, this could grow into a full-time role down the line. I'm looking for someone I can invest in, not just rent. To apply, answer these in your first message (skip the generic pitch—I won't read it): 1. Walk me through one outbound campaign you ran: the target, the channel, and the actual results (meetings booked, reply rate, etc.). 2. What tools would you want to run this? 3. How would you structure pay, and what would you need from me to hit the ground running? Start your reply with the word "PLAN" so I know you read this all the way through.
