Content Growth Manager / Swiss Army Knife

Join our growing media team as a **Content Growth Manager / Social Media Swiss Army Knife**. This is not a typical social media manager or content manager position. We are looking for someone who can do much more than simply schedule posts or write captions. We need someone who understands how to **build, grow, and manage social media pages**, especially on Instagram and TikTok. The ideal person knows how to take a page and make it better. They understand what makes someone follow, what makes a video perform, how to improve engagement, and how to turn content into real attention. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Some days you may be editing short-form videos. Other days you may be creating Canva graphics, writing captions, researching trends, uploading content, helping build a content calendar, repurposing long-form videos, or looking at analytics to figure out what is working. You should understand: * Instagram growth * TikTok growth * Short-form video editing * Hooks and retention * Captions and storytelling * Content calendars * Canva graphics and carousels * Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts * Basic analytics * Organic growth strategy * Repurposing content across platforms * Building a page that looks professional and gets attention We are building a real media brand, not just posting random content. Our content covers real estate, local news, neighborhoods, lifestyle, new construction, restaurants, businesses, and everything happening in Northern Virginia. We need someone who can look at a page and say, “Here is what we should improve, here is what content we should create, and here is how we can grow faster.” This person should be a self-starter who brings ideas, studies trends, understands creators, and wants to grow with a fast-moving team long term.
