1. What this is We're a cross-border marketing firm connecting Chinese suppliers with B2B buyers internationally. We generate leads in South Africa — importers, distributors, and commercial buyers for Chinese goods (electronics, vehicles, machinery, chemicals, solar). We need someone who closes those leads end to end. 2. What you'll actually be doing You receive leads and own the conversion — follow-up, negotiation, trust-building, and clearing blockers. South Africa has the most sophisticated import infrastructure on the continent, but deals still stall on SARS customs requirements, import permits, ITAC regulations for certain product categories, and exchange control compliance. Your job is to keep deals moving through all of it. You manage your own pipeline. You report results. You don't wait. 3. What makes someone right for this You've closed B2B import deals in South Africa. You understand SARS customs, import permits, how clearing agents operate at Durban or Cape Town, and how South African buyers approach first-time China orders. Solar and automotive parts are high-growth categories here — experience in either is a direct advantage. Professional English, Afrikaans or Zulu a plus. Fully self-directed. 4. Compensation $150 USD/month retainer + $500 USD per confirmed container-load conversion. 2–3 closings/month = $1,150–$1,650 USD. 5. Requirements - Professional English - Proven B2B import or commercial conversion experience in South Africa - Working knowledge of SARS customs, import permits, ITAC regulations, exchange control - Existing relationships with clearing agents or freight forwarders preferred - Independent pipeline management without daily oversight
