MRO Inventory / Maintenance Materials Data Analyst Needed for 2-Week Validation Sprint

**Please review the attached SOW and answer the screening questions in your cover letter when submitting your proposal.** We are looking for a specialized MRO inventory, maintenance materials, or industrial supply chain data analyst to support a short-term, sensitive analysis project. This is not a generic dashboard project. We need someone who has worked with industrial materials, maintenance spare parts, material master data, purchase history, usage/issue history, and inventory stocking logic. We have prior third-party consultant findings related to material usage and purchasing patterns. The objective is not to copy those findings blindly. The objective is to validate the data, identify gaps, analyze usage/spend/frequency/dormancy patterns, and prepare a defensible foundation for internal engineering, operations, procurement, and project review. The work will support a 2-week initial analysis sprint. ***Please see the attached document for the detailed scope of work. Scope of Work The analysis may include: 1.Historical usage by material code 2.Historical spend by material code 3.Purchase frequency 4.Last purchase date 5.Last issue / usage date 6.Items not used in several years 7.Slow-moving or potentially obsolete materials 8.High-spend / low-frequency materials 9.High-frequency recurring materials 10.Potential duplicate or inconsistent material codes 11.Likely recurring demand versus one-time or project-driven demand, where data allows 12.Preliminary inventory segmentation 13.Items that should be reviewed by engineering before any stocking decision 14. Data-quality issues, assumptions, and limitations 15.Executive-ready summary of findings Important Limitation The freelancer will not make final engineering or operational stocking decisions. The freelancer’s role is to prepare the analytical foundation and identify where engineering, operations, procurement, or project input is required.
