This role is key to ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, reducing delays, and supporting the team with shipment documentation and operational visibility. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.  Responsibilities • Transportation Scheduling: Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to schedule pallet pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.  • System Updates: Maintain accurate records in internal systems including tracking logs, delivery notes, and inventory databases.  • Document Management: Ensure all logistics-related documents, such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), delivery receipts, and shipment confirmations, are requested, received, and filed appropriately.  • Supplier & Carrier Communication: Serve as a point of contact for transportation partners, facilitating clear and timely communication.  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor in-transit shipments, proactively flag potential delays, and ensure accurate delivery status updates.  Knowledge and Skill Requirements • 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight, and/or supply chain management roles  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients. • Familiarity with freight coordination, BOLs, and shipment terms.  • Exceptional organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and time management  • Customer-centric mindset to understand and meet needs of clients and internal stakeholders  • Knows how to manage multiple relationships with tact and professionalism, but also drive toward results. • Ability to accurately process and file documents, and manage supply chain and operations data UCBEnvironmental is growing fast!
