Recruiter & Cold Caller - Outbound Phone, Recruiting & Lead Gen (Remote, Base + Bonuses)

We operate several growing businesses in real estate, recruiting, data, and lead generation. We are looking for a highly motivated Recruiting & Lead Generation Specialist who can help us find talent AND generate business opportunities through outbound phone calls, email, SMS, and online outreach. This is a long-term position with real opportunities for advancement into team lead, recruiting manager, sales manager, or operations roles. Why this role is combined: the underlying skill set is the same on both sides of the phone — high-volume outbound communication, building rapport fast, following scripts while sounding natural, handling objections, qualifying people, scheduling appointments, CRM/pipeline management, and consistent follow-up. The strongest recruiters are often strong cold callers, and vice versa. What You Will Be Doing 1. Recruiting & Talent Acquisition - Post and manage job advertisements on Upwork, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms - Review resumes and applications - Conduct initial candidate screening interviews - Contact applicants via phone, email, SMS, and messaging platforms - Schedule interviews with hiring managers - Maintain recruiting pipelines and candidate databases - Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process - Track hiring metrics and recruiting activity 2. Lead Generation & Sales Support - Make outbound calls to property owners, landlords, investors, homeowners, and business owners - Follow proven scripts while maintaining a natural conversation - Qualify prospects and gather information - Schedule appointments for management, sales, or business development teams - Update CRM systems and lead databases - Send follow-up emails and text messages - Maintain detailed notes on every interaction 3. Administrative Support - Data entry and CRM management - Spreadsheet maintenance - Calendar scheduling - Basic research projects - Other administrative tasks as assigned Requirements - Excellent spoken and written English - Clear and professional phone presence - Reliable internet connection - Quality headset and quiet workspace - Ability to work independently - Strong organizational skills - Comfortable making outbound calls throughout the day - Ability to multitask across several projects Nice to Have - Recruiting experience - Cold calling experience - Appointment setting experience - Real estate experience - Customer service experience - CRM experience - Upwork and/or Indeed recruiting experience What Success Looks Like - Builds strong relationships quickly - Sounds natural and conversational - Handles objections professionally - Follows processes consistently - Learns new scripts quickly - Maintains accurate records - Delivers reliable daily activity The ideal candidate could comfortably do BOTH of these conversations: - Morning: "Hi Sarah, I saw your application for our Property Manager position and wanted to ask a few screening questions." - Afternoon: "Hi John, I noticed you're self-managing a rental property and wanted to see if you've ever considered professional property management." If you can switch naturally between recruiting and sales conversations, you are likely the right fit. Compensation - $3.00/hour base pay - Performance bonuses may include: recruiting bonuses, appointment-setting bonuses, placement bonuses, and other performance incentives - Advancement opportunities into team lead / manager roles Schedule - 100% Remote - 30+ hours/week - Must overlap with U.S. business hours - Long-term (6+ months), contract-to-hire
