eCommerce Growth & Operations Lead (Shopify A–Z Owner) — Cooly Bikes Summary We’re Cooly Bikes (Australia) and we’re hiring a hands on eCommerce Growth & Operations Lead to take end to end ownership of our Shopify store. This is not a “product upload VA” role. We need someone who can run the store A-Z, monitor it daily, analyse performance weekly, and coordinate fixes across dev/ads/email so revenue never silently drops What success looks like - You catch issues fast (within 24 hours) and drive them to resolution. - You own the numbers: sessions → add to cart → checkout → purchase. - You keep Shopify clean, stable, and conversion-ready. Core responsibilities (A–Z) - Daily store monitoring: orders, payment status, abandoned checkouts, checkout completion, key alerts. - Incident response: investigate and resolve (or coordinate resolution of) checkout/payment/shipping issues. - Reporting & analysis: weekly KPI report with insights + actions (Shopify is source of truth). - Conversion hygiene: identify friction, prioritise fixes, QA changes, maintain trust signals. Shopify admin ownership: products/collections, inventory/locations, shipping settings, discounts, apps. Change control: maintain a change log, document SOPs, and ensure rollback plans for risky changes. Coordination: manage/brief Shopify dev, PPC specialist, and email marketer as needed. Must-have experience - 3+ years running Shopify operations with real ownership (not just tasks). - Strong understanding of Shopify checkout, payments, shipping, and common failure modes. - Comfortable with data: Shopify Analytics, funnels, attribution sanity checks. - Clear communicator who documents work and provides concise daily/weekly updates. Nice-to-have - Experience with Australian market (AUD, Afterpay, shipping zones). - Basic theme/app troubleshooting and QA. - CRO experience (practical, not theory). - Trial + ongoing structure We’ll start with a 1-week paid trial. - Week 1 deliverables: - Daily store health checklist - Incident SOP ("sales dropped / checkout not converting" checklist) - Weekly KPI dashboard/report template - Priority action plan (top 5 fixes + expected impact) - Ongoing: ~60 mins/day (plus extra time during incidents), with samed ay response if checkout is broken.
