Market Research & Outreach Assistant for Portugal Marine / Boating Project

We are launching a new marine marketplace for boats, yachts, marinas, marine services, brokers, dealers, and marine jobs. The project will start with one country as a test market. Before the full portal launch, we are building a Telegram-based pre-launch channel, collecting listings, and creating a local partner database. We are looking for a freelancer who can help with market research, outreach, collecting listings, and preparing simple Telegram posts. ### Main responsibilities * Research yacht brokers, boat dealers, marinas, marine service companies, charter companies, surveyors, transport companies, sailing schools, and marine job sources in the selected country. * Find and add contacts to a shared Google Sheet / CRM. * Contact brokers, sellers, dealers, and marine businesses by email, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, or website forms. * Invite businesses and sellers to join our pre-launch pilot. * Collect boat listings, service profiles, prices, locations, photos, descriptions, and contact details. * Prepare simple Telegram posts based on collected listings and company information. * Track outreach activity and update the CRM daily. * Send a short daily report with contacts added, messages sent, replies received, listings collected, and problems. ### Important This is not just a social media posting job. We are not looking for someone who only creates nice posts. The main goal is to help us build the first supply, partner base, and local market traction before the portal launch. Content is part of the work, but research, outreach, listings collection, and partner communication are more important. ### Our offer to the market We are building a simple and affordable listing platform. The goal is to offer sellers, brokers, and marine businesses a low-cost way to get visibility without expensive subscriptions or sales commissions. ### Ideal candidate * Based in the target country or familiar with its local marine / boating market. * Good English is required. * Local language is a strong advantage. * Experience with market research, lead generation, outreach, Telegram, or social media operations. * Interest in boats, yachts, marinas, tourism, or local business is a plus. * Organized and comfortable working with Google Sheets / CRM. * Able to contact businesses directly and follow up. * Able to work independently and report progress clearly. ### Workload * Around 4 hours per day. * First month is a test period. * Long-term cooperation is possible if the first month brings good results. ### First month goals * Build a database of relevant marine businesses and sellers in the selected country. * Contact the first group of potential partners. * Collect first boat listings and service profiles. * Prepare and publish Telegram posts. * Help validate whether the market is responsive. * Identify potential paid clients for future listings and packages. ### Expected monthly targets * 150–200+ relevant contacts added to CRM. * 150–200+ outreach messages sent. * 30–50 replies received. * 15–30 boat listings / service profiles collected. * 5–10 pilot partners. * Regular Telegram posts prepared from real listings and businesses. ### Payment Workload: around 4 hours per day. Performance bonuses may be discussed after we validate the pricing model and first results.
