Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our Emergency Room facilities (Sugarland ER and Life Savers Emergency Room) and Wellness Clinic(Houston Injury and Wellness Clinic). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll and reporting functions. This position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for ER and HIWC operations. 2. Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. 3. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. 4. Assist with payroll processing and ensure payroll records are accurate. 5. Track employee reimbursements and other payroll-related adjustments. 6. Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. 7. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on accounts receivable as needed. 8. Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review. 9. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation. 10. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. 11. Support audits and provide requested financial documentation. Collaborate with management and department leaders regarding financial matters. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. 2. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. 4. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial record keeping. 5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
