AI Pricing & Demand Intelligence Agent Expert

We are building an AI-powered pricing and demand intelligence agent for a Nairobi-based B2B fresh produce marketplace that connects farmers and aggregators to last-mile food businesses across Kenya. The business currently prices produce using a fixed markup model and operates across defined distribution routes serving small retailers (duukas) and select supermarkets. The agent will replace the static pricing approach with a dynamic, data-driven system. At its core, it will produce a daily trading recommendation, covering what to buy, how much to buy, what to pay, and what to sell for, with the goal of maximizing total gross profit while minimizing waste and working capital risk. Alongside the analysis, this agent will surface contextual market alerts from available sources, both online and input by the agents. For example, based on the weather forecast: "Heavy rainfall forecast in Kirinyaga in 5 days. Tomato supply likely to tighten. Consider increasing procurement this week."
