Autonomous Telemarketing Regulatory Change & Impact Agent (Claude Agent Loops)
Worldwide
Compliance IV needs a genuinely autonomous agent — built on the Claude Agent SDK / Claude API, not a linear script and not a no-code workflow tool (no Zapier/n8n/Make) — that monitors telemarketing regulation on its own and determines impact. No sample data or documents will be provided; the agent must find and work with real sources itself. Scope: the agent must autonomously search and monitor real regulatory sources relevant to telemarketing — e.g. FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule updates, FCC/TCPA rulings, National Do Not Call Registry changes, and relevant state-level telemarketing and robocall laws — using live web search / tool-calling, not a fixed list of URLs we hand it. It must run a real perceive-plan-act-reflect loop: (1) plan its own search and monitoring strategy across sources rather than checking one static feed, (2) identify genuinely new or changed telemarketing-related rules, (3) read and summarize each update, (4) reason about what it actually means for a telemarketing operation's compliance obligations, (5) assess severity/urgency and produce a clear impact assessment, (6) run a real self-critique step where it double-checks whether an update is truly new/relevant or noise, catching false positives or missed items, and revises before finalizing, and (7) autonomously decide which findings to log as low-priority vs. escalate immediately, with reasoning for that decision. Deliverables: working code (Python or TypeScript) using the Claude Agent SDK or Anthropic API directly, with real web search/tool-use integration; a short README explaining the agent's architecture, loop design, and how it decides what's worth monitoring; and a recorded demo or live walkthrough showing it finding and assessing at least one real, current telemarketing regulatory update end to end. Evaluation criteria: we're looking for genuine agentic engineering — autonomous planning, real tool use against live sources, and self-correction — not a fixed script that scrapes one page on a timer. Submissions that can't demonstrate finding and reasoning about actual current telemarketing regulations won't be considered. Prior experience with compliance, RegTech, TCPA/telemarketing law, or GRC domains is a strong plus. This is the first deliverable in a longer-term engagement building autonomous compliance agents for Compliance IV — strong performance here leads directly into ongoing work.
