Akeneo Developer

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Akeneo Developer to design, develop, customize, and integrate Akeneo Product Information Management (PIM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Akeneo PIM development, product data modeling, API integrations, and eCommerce ecosystems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable PIM solutions that improve product data quality and accelerate time-to-market. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and customize Akeneo PIM solutions based on business requirements. Configure product models, families, attributes, categories, reference entities, and asset management. Develop custom modules, plugins, and workflows within Akeneo. Build and maintain integrations between Akeneo and ERP, DAM, CRM, and eCommerce platforms. Develop REST API-based integrations and data synchronization processes. Create and optimize data import/export processes using CSV, Excel, and APIs. Perform product data migration, cleansing, and enrichment activities. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities. Follow coding standards, version control, and CI/CD best practices. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of software development experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM. Strong experience with PHP and Symfony framework. Good understanding of Akeneo architecture and customization. Experience with REST APIs and web services. Knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB. Experience with Git and version control systems. Familiarity with Linux environments. Strong understanding of product data modeling and PIM concepts. Experience integrating Akeneo with ERP, DAM, or eCommerce platforms. Preferred Skills Experience with Akeneo Enterprise Edition. Integration experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento), BigCommerce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Business Central. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
