Job Title: Make.com Expert Needed: Code Review & Bug Fixing (Odoo & 3PL API Integration)

Project Overview: We have an existing Make.com integration that connects our ERP (Odoo 19) to our 3PL warehouse fulfillment API (Quivo). The foundation of the integration (two main scenarios for order export and shipment tracking) has been built by a previous developer. However, the connection is currently very buggy and highly unstable in our live environment. The system frequently experiences hard crashes when handling real-world data (e.g., empty search results, backorders, or missing fields). I am losing trust in the current setup and need a senior Make.com expert to step in, audit the architecture, and stabilize the system. Current Architecture: Scenario A: Exports Delivery Orders (PDFs, shipping methods, customer data) from Odoo to the Quivo API. Scenario B: Fetches completed shipment details/tracking from Quivo and updates the delivery status in Odoo. Further work after the fixes to these two scenarios is to be expected. The Problems We Are Facing: Lack of Error Handling: Scenarios hard-crash instead of using error routing/ignore routes when a search yields 0 results or when API responses are unexpected. Data Mapping Issues: Frequent bugs related to strict API requirements (e.g., mapping exact identifiers vs. human-readable references, handling missing shipping methods as fallbacks). Poor Edge-Case Management: The system breaks on partial shipments, backorders, or when specific address fields are formatted differently. Scope of Work: Comprehensive Code Review: Audit the existing Make.com scenarios. Identify bottlenecks, bad architectural decisions, and missing fail-safes. Implementation of Error Routing: Add proactive error handlers, filters, and fallback routes so the scenarios never hard-crash silently. Bug Fixing & Refactoring: Fix the immediate mapping and API request errors causing current sync failures. Stress Testing: Run realistic, complex test data (not just standard paths) to ensure the system is 100% reliable for production. Requirements for the Freelancer: Proven, high-level expertise in Make.com (formerly Integromat) architecture. Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and strict duplicate-prevention logic. Experience with ERP systems (Odoo experience is a huge plus, but understanding general data structures like Sales Orders vs. Delivery Slips is mandatory). Proactive communicator who tests thoroughly before claiming a task is "done."
