WordPress Maintenance Specialist Needed for Staging, Updates and Technical Stabilisation We are seeking an experienced WordPress maintenance and troubleshooting specialist to stabilise and modernise an established corporate website before a separate content and design update. The website is currently live and functioning. This is not an emergency repair, and we do not want someone simply clicking “Update All” on the production site. The work must begin with backup verification, a complete staging copy and a controlled compatibility audit. Current environment The site currently includes: Hello Elementor theme Elementor and Elementor Pro Some legacy WPBakery Page Builder content Multiple form plugins installed over time Cloudflare and W3 Total Cache Yoast SEO Google Site Kit Drip email-marketing tracking etc Exact versions and access details will be provided privately to shortlisted candidates. Phase 1 scope 1. Verify backup and rollback capability 2. Create a staging environment 3. Audit the existing installation Prepare a written inventory 4. Update and stabilise the staging site 5. Test the modern server environment 6. Functional testing 7. Plugin and theme rationalisation plan Provide recommendations 8. Written handover Required experience Applicants should have demonstrable experience with: WordPress maintenance and legacy-site recovery Elementor and Elementor Pro WPBakery Page Builder staging, migration and database cloning PHP-version upgrades MySQL or MariaDB upgrades Cloudflare and WordPress caching troubleshooting premium-plugin compatibility WordPress form systems and email delivery backup restoration and rollback responsive testing technical documentation Experience maintaining corporate or professional-services websites is preferred.
