Upwork Brings Its Talent Marketplace to Claude and ChatGPT

Upwork is now available inside Anthropic's Claude, our second major AI platform launch this year, following the introduction of Upwork on ChatGPT in April.

Both integrations solve the same problem for business: the gap between planning what you need and finding the right person to do it. Now, the moment clarity strikes — on a project, a deliverable, a problem you need solved — Upwork is right there in the same conversation. No context lost, no momentum broken.

In Claude, you can describe what you need, get help matching with vetted professionals from Upwork's marketplace of more than 18 million experts, and build a job post ready to publish — all in the chat. The same is true in ChatGPT: describe your project, get matched with relevant talent, and draft a job post in the conversation. From there, Upwork's AI work agent Uma™ picks up the handoff and helps manage hiring and delivery. The context you built becomes the starting point.

You can start broad or specific:

• "Start an Upwork job post for a data analyst who can build an AI system that turns our raw customer support transcripts into weekly trend reports."
• "Our finance team spends hours on manual reporting every month. Find me an AI automation expert on Upwork who can build a solution to fix that."
• "I've drafted this product spec. Find me a senior engineer who's shipped similar features and can build it."

We've also expanded what's possible in ChatGPT this month. Job posts from the Upwork Marketplace will surface within a new ChatGPT jobs feed, giving users visibility into more than 3 million work opportunities posted on the platform globally each year. Professionals can now discover work on Upwork right inside the tools they're already using.
