Appointment Setter — B2B AI Compliance Services We're a new adversarial AI evaluation firm — we red-team, safety test, and audit AI systems for enterprise fintech, healthtech, and identity-verification companies, with a focus on EU AI Act compliance ahead of the August 2026 deadline. We're pre-revenue and upfront about that: this is a paid trial, not an ongoing role to start. We need someone to identify the right prospects and run outreach to get qualified decision-makers on a call with us. Scope: Identify and reach out to prospects at enterprise companies deploying AI, targeting compliance officers, CISOs, Heads of AI/Risk, or CTOs. Run your own outreach sequence (email or LinkedIn) — how you source and structure it is up to you. The deliverable is booked discovery calls, not a list. Report back on activity (contacted, response rate) and any calls booked. We want someone who can actually get a real prospect on the phone, not just generate contact data. How to identify the right prospects (you don't need AI/security background — just look for these signals): Priority targets — fintech, healthtech, identity-verification companies, etc. using AI/ML for: Fraud detection, credit scoring, or automated underwriting Diagnostics, triage, or clinical decision support Document or biometric identity verification These fall most clearly under EU AI Act high-risk classification and carry the most urgency. Secondary targets — any company that has integrated a large language model (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or custom) into a customer-facing or business-critical workflow: chatbots, document automation, decision support, content generation. Broader category, less regulatory urgency, but still relevant with EU exposure. Additional signals worth checking regardless of category: Job postings for "ML Engineer," "AI Product Manager," "Head of AI," or "Responsible AI" Company blog posts, press releases, or LinkedIn posts announcing an AI-powered product/feature in the last 12 months EU-headquartered or EU-operating — this matters, since our angle is the EU AI Act deadline, not US-only companies Aim for roughly 70% priority targets, 30% secondary. If unsure whether a company fits, flag it and we'll confirm before you spend outreach time on it. Compensation beyond the trial: No retainer, no ongoing role promised yet — we don't have the budget for that. What we're offering instead: if any prospect you reach turns into a signed client within 6 months, you get a commission on that contract, as a bonus on top of your hourly fee. That's the full upside beyond the hourly fee, stated plainly so there's no ambiguity. Who this is for: People experienced in direct outreach and appointment setting, not primarily list-building or data entry Experience selling into compliance, regtech, fintech, or enterprise security specifically — you understand skeptical, legal/risk-sensitive buyers with longer cycles Comfortable working independently, using your own tools/process, since we don't have a CRM or outreach platform set up yet Comfortable with a flat fee for effort rather than guaranteed pay-per-meeting Who this is not for: List-builders/data entry specialists without direct outreach experience — that's not what this role needs Please include in your application: Your direct experience booking meetings via cold outreach (not list-building) — with what industry/vertical Any relevant compliance/regtech/fintech experience A short example of how you'd open a cold email to a compliance officer about AI Act risk exposure
