Job Description We are an established, independent NHS Domiciliary Eye Care Service based in Solihull, West Midlands. We are currently launching a proactive regional safety initiative across the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Oxfordshire to help care facilities dramatically reduce resident falls risks and optimise their CQC (Care Quality Commission) compliance data. We are looking for an experienced, articulate, native British English telephone professional to conduct outbound follow-up calls to Care Home Managers, Clinical Leads, and Registered Scheme Administrators. Your core objective is not to sell a commercial service, but to follow up on highly customised, pre-sent introductory emails and secure bookings for our 100% Free "Vision & Falls Prevention" Screening Clinics for high-risk residents. Key Responsibilities Execute Warm/Warmish Follow-Up Calls: Call a curated, highly targeted master sheet of independent care groups and boutique homes exactly 48 hours after they receive our tailored email pitch. Bypass Gatekeepers: Navigate care home receptionists professionally using an administrative "audit" approach to verify who their current optical provider is (e.g., Specsavers vs. Outside Clinic). Pitch the Free Value Asset: Speak confidently with Care Home Managers or Clinical Leads about how our free screening clinics provide audit-ready evidence for the new CQC Single Assessment Framework (specifically Quality Statements: Safe & Effective). Calendar Management: Secure and book a brief 2-minute introductory phone consultation or directly lock in the on-site screening clinic date in our calendar. Pipeline Updates: Maintain clean data logs in our master tracking spreadsheet (noting current optical provider, manager's name, call outcome, and scheduled next steps). Required Skills & Experience Native British English Speaker: Absolute fluency with a warm, professional, clear, and authoritative corporate telephone manner is non-negotiable. Care Sector Familiarity: Prior experience speaking to UK health professionals, GP surgeries, or care home management is a massive advantage. You must understand how busy care managers are and how to speak to them with empathy and brevity. Resilience & Professionalism: This is B2B outreach; you must be comfortable handling structural gatekeepers politely while keeping the call metrics focused on health and compliance value. Technical Competence: Comfortable using collaborative tracking tools (Google Sheets/Excel) and communication setups. You must have a distraction-free home office setup with a high-quality microphone and stable internet connection. Project Type & Compensation Project Type: Part-time / Ongoing. Volume: Initially 10 to 15 hours per week, batched across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings (the highest-conversion windows for care managers). Payment: Hourly rate (dependent on experience) + performance-based bonuses for every successful screening clinic booked.
