B2B Vendor Success Manager & E-Commerce Catalog Administrator (Bilingual)
Worldwide
Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized, highly analytical Vendor Success Manager to spearhead and oversee B2B Vendor onboarding, catalog management, and continuous order management for a premier online furniture marketplace in Egypt (Easy Furniture). This role is dual-purpose: You will be responsible for bringing top-tier manufacturers (specifically from the Damietta and Cairo clusters) onto the platform, acting as the primary operational liaison for our manufacturing partners. You will guide vendors through our strict legal compliance onboarding, verify their operational capacity, aggregate and standardize product data (dimensions, materials, pricing) into our staging templates, and subsequently manage their end-to-end product transactional lifecycle from listing to order fulfillment. Requirement: As a Content & Catalog Administrator, you must possess a deep baseline understanding of advanced e-commerce data structures, specifically navigating product attributes, specification filters, and localized string resource arrays. Compensation Architecture: This contract operates on a strict, two-phase compensation model designed to reward high-velocity onboarding followed by flawless operational execution. #### REQUIRED CONTRACT SCOPE: Phase 1: Vendor Onboarding, Legal Compliance & Catalog Aggregation (Fixed Milestone Payout) During the pre-launch and initial scale-up, compensation is strictly tied to fixed deliverables to ensure legal compliance and catalog depth. - Target: Onboard vendors via localized funnels targeting major manufacturing hubs. - Verification & Documentation: Validate mandatory vendor documentation, including National ID/Passports, Bank Data, Vendor main and Branches Addresses, Commercial Registers (issued within the last 3 months), Tax IDs, and ETA (Egyptian Tax Authority) Integration UUIDs. - Catalogue Building: Upload formatted, SEO-optimized product data utilizing the platform's specific category attribute architecture. - SLA Education: Ensure vendors clearly understand and accept the platform's terms, including electronic tax invoicing requirements (14% VAT), commission collection, mandatory 14-day refund policies, and intellectual property/licensing agreements. - Optional Virtual Verification: Conduct Vendor Verification Visits physically or via video call to review workshop capacity, review completed Shop Survey Forms (SSF), and issue the internal Vendor Verification Report (VVR) before approving marketplace access. Project Milestones & Compensation (Phase 1 Target): This is a fixed-price contract structured around clear deliverables. Contract Payment operates on deliverable-based milestones tied to fully verified and onboarded vendor profiles and released upon successful quality assurance (QA) and system approval of the formatted data rows. - Milestone 1 ($40): Delivery of 100 fully formatted, bilingual product rows and 2 Fully Onboarded vendor profiles. - Milestone 2 ($40): Delivery of an additional 150 formatted, bilingual product rows and 2 Fully Onboarded vendor profiles. - Milestone 3 ($60): Delivery of an additional 150 formatted, bilingual product rows and 2 Fully Onboarded vendor profiles. - Milestone 4 ($60): Delivery of the final 100 formatted, bilingual product rows and 2 Fully Onboarded vendor profiles, completing the 500-product target. ### Project Structure & Payment Architecture This project is governed by a strict Phased Milestone framework. Extension into future phases is optional, non-guaranteed, and dependent upon the successful completion of Phase 1 data gates and platform approval metrics. OPTIONAL EXTENDED SCOPE: Phase 2: Catalogue and Order Lifecycle Management & Dispute Resolution (Commission + KPI Model) (Discretionary Milestone) The following phase is included strictly as optional, extended scope for architectural clarity. Activation of this phase is at the sole discretion of the client, requires a separate escrow funding allocation inside Upwork, and is contingent on Phase 1 performance: Once the vendors are live and receiving B2C traffic, your role shifts to SLA enforcement and order processing. You become the operational owner of your onboarded vendors. - Tasks: Monitor active orders, force vendor acknowledgment, track fulfillment timelines, and manage all customer Q&A, warranty claims, and refund requests directly. - Data Administration: Format public product data into standardized Excel templates for bulk upload, updating inventory availability and product details periodically. - Customer & Vendor Mediation: Act as the primary interface for product-related Q&A. Confirm ordered product availability with vendors immediately upon purchase. - Fulfillment Tracking: Follow up continuously with vendors to ensure safe packing and timely shipping. - Dispute & Warranty Resolution: Manage all post-sale claims, returns, and warranty/maintenance requests between the end-consumer and the vendor. - Penalty Auditing: Monitor and report vendor infractions to platform administrators to apply necessary SLA deductions (e.g., stockout cancellations, defective goods, or counterfeit listings). Payment Model: You will receive approximately 25% of the platform's earned commission from every successful, non-refunded order generated by your assigned vendors. KPI Deductions: Your net monthly payout is subject to performance penalties. Deductions will be applied for: - Low Customer Satisfaction - Delayed response to customer Questions or Claims - Escalated return requests due to poor vendor mediation - Vendor stockouts resulting in order cancellation Technical & Professional Requirements: - Native/Fluent in Egyptian Arabic and English. - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency. - Strong understanding of Egyptian commercial documentation and e-receipt fundamentals. - High-level communication and negotiation skills for B2B account management. - Strong nopCommerce e-commerce platform and transactions knowledge.
