Bookkeeper

I am looking to engage a bookkeeper to clean up our current books (small cleaning business based in NSW, Australia) and implement a structured, ongoing bookkeeping and reporting system. Current Situation We are operating in Xero Books are currently messy and need a full clean-up Multiple systems involved (bank feeds, Stripe, payroll) Limited financial visibility at present As a small business, we’re now at the stage where we need clear, reliable numbers to support growth and decision-making Scope of Work 1. Initial Clean-Up (Priority) Full reconciliation of bank accounts and Stripe Review and correction of transaction categorisation Clean up of chart of accounts (aligned to service-based business) Ensure payroll, super, and liabilities are correctly recorded Prepare accounts to an accurate, reliable baseline 2. Ongoing Bookkeeping Monthly reconciliation Ongoing financial maintenance and accuracy 3. Reporting & Insights (Critical Requirement) This is a key priority. We are looking for more than standard Xero reports. We want meaningful, decision-driving reporting.
