Bookkeeper Needed — Extract 2025 Business Expenses for Tax Preparation (One-Time Project) Overview: I am a sole proprietor who needs a one-time cleanup of my 2025 financial records so my accountant can prepare my taxes. This is a straightforward extraction project — not ongoing bookkeeping, and QuickBooks is NOT required. What I Have: 5 checking accounts (2 active with regular transactions) 15 credit cards (mix of low and high balance cards) Both checking and credit cards used for personal and business expenses mixed together Full 2025 statements available for all accounts What I Need: Someone to go through the statements and: Separate business expenses from personal expenses Categorize business expenses by type including meals, travel, accommodation, vehicle expenses (car, gas, RV used for work), office, phone, professional services, and other standard Schedule C categories Produce a clean summary spreadsheet the accountant can use directly for my 2025 Schedule C tax return Provide one summary per account plus one master summary of all business expenses combined What I Do NOT Need: Quickbooks setup or ongoing bookkeeping Complex accounting software Monthly retainer or recurring work Anything beyond 2025 Scope: This is a modest, well-defined project. I average roughly 2-3 transactions per day combined across all accounts — many days significantly less.
