Business Development Consultant (Indonesia) – Hajj & Umrah Industry

Overview Albaytu is a technology company building a marketplace and software platform for the Hajj and Umrah industry. We are seeking an experienced Jakarta-based consultant to help us connect with Hajj and Umrah travel agencies and arrange meetings with agency owners, founders, directors, and decision-makers. This is not a sales role and no selling is required. The primary objective is to facilitate introductions, arrange meetings, and help us better understand the operational workflows, challenges, and needs of travel agencies in the industry. Responsibilities - Identify and contact Hajj and Umrah travel agencies in Jakarta and surrounding areas. - Build relationships with agency owners, founders, directors, and decision-makers. - Arrange online or in-person meetings between Albaytu and agency representatives. - Conduct agency visits when appropriate. - Assist with communication and follow-up where necessary. - Provide insights into local business practices and communication preferences. - Help coordinate interviews and feedback sessions with agencies. Requirements - Based in Jakarta, Indonesia. - Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Experience working with Indonesian businesses. - Existing network within the Hajj, Umrah, travel, tourism, or religious travel industry is highly preferred. - Ability to communicate professionally with senior decision-makers. - Comfortable working independently. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in business development, partnerships, consulting, market research, or account management. - Prior experience working with Hajj and Umrah agencies. - Existing relationships with agency owners, directors, or executives. Project Goals The consultant will be evaluated based on: - Number of qualified introductions. - Number of meetings arranged with agency decision-makers. - Number of completed meetings. - Quality of agency insights and feedback obtained. - Responsiveness and professionalism.
