Business Research & Contact List Specialist — Pet Services Industry (Multi-State)

Cantara Pet Business Advisors is a boutique M&A and consulting firm serving the pet resort industry (dog boarding, daycare, and pet resort businesses across North America). Our founder is a multi-decade pet resort operator who has built, bought and sold pet resorts, with and for private equity, and now helps other owners prepare their businesses for a profitable, well-timed exit. We are building the lead data set of pet resorts in the USA in select states. We're looking for an experienced lead generation / business research specialist to build a qualified list of independent pet boarding and daycare businesses across five U.S. states, with a verified point of contact for each. What you'll do: Identify independent pet boarding/daycare businesses meeting specific criteria (independent operators only, minimum online review score and volume, facility type) Research and compile a verified point of contact for each business — owner name, email, and phone, not just a general business line Where standard enrichment tools don't return a confirmed contact, use publicly available sources (business websites, state business registries) to verify Deliver structured data in a spreadsheet format we'll provide a template for States: Arizona, Florida, Texas, Oregon, Washington We'd like to start with a scoping pull in Arizona to validate the approach, data quality, and your estimated pace before committing to the full five-state build. What we need from you in your proposal: Your recommended approach and tools for business research and contact enrichment (e.g. Apollo, Clay, or your own methodology) — and why How you'd verify a contact when standard enrichment tools fail to return one for a small independent business Your hourly rate and a rough estimate of hours for the Arizona scoping pull specifically A note on data quality: we care more about verified accuracy than raw volume.
