Chief of Staff to CEO — Venture Studio | LATAM Preferred | Long-Term Role

Method Five Labs (M5) is a venture studio with offices in the US and Europe, building and deploying a portfolio of platforms most operators would call impossible — addiction recovery infrastructure with biometric wearables and a Nashville detox facility, mother-in-crisis programs co-built with a state government, identity and payment rails for the next internet, digital platforms reaching tens of millions of faith-driven users, and a circular economy stack for impact at scale. I am looking for a right hand. THE ROLE This is a Chief of Staff role with VA-level execution in the first ninety days. You will be in my hip pocket from day one — running my inbox, my calendar, my travel, my relationships, my call follow-ups, and my deal flow — while simultaneously producing real work product alongside me. Decks. Memos. Models. Term sheets. Investor updates. Vendor coordination. Project orchestration across ventures. You are NOT a green VA picking up a first gig. You have run things. You have managed up to executives. You have shipped real business work product. You think two steps ahead and you don't need to be told twice. By month three — once you've learned my voice, my rhythm, my portfolio, and my standards — you will hire and onboard a VA of your own and move into the higher-leverage work: chairing meetings I can't be in, owning operating cadences across portfolio companies, hardening systems and playbooks, and routing priorities so I can stay focused on capital, partnerships, and the next venture in the build queue. THE BAR I am hiring one person. A rockstar. Not a team of three trying their best. Must-haves: - You love chaos. Five priorities shifting before lunch energizes you. If you need a stable, single-threaded workload to do your best work, please do not apply — you will be miserable here and so will I. - Real business experience — operations, consulting, finance, startup ops, EA-to-CEO at a serious company, or equivalent. You decide whether you qualify. - Native or near-native English, written and spoken — writing that makes me look sharp in front of investors and partners. - Available during US business hours with flexibility for early mornings, late nights, and the occasional weekend when something is on fire. Most weeks won't be like this. Some will. - Professional home office: fast computer, dual monitors or equivalent, fast internet, quiet space for video calls. - LATAM strongly preferred for time zone overlap and the work ethic I've come to trust in operators from the region. - The ability to disagree with me, push back, ask the better question, and tell me when I'm wrong — without ego. Nice-to-haves: background in venture, private equity, family office, consulting, or a high-growth startup; comfort alongside a faith-motivated mission; Spanish or Portuguese fluency; power-user fluency in Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, Airtable, and AI tools. COMPENSATION AND GROWTH Starting at $5,800/month USD, full-time, consulting engagement, at-will. This role is designed to grow. The right person will be at $10,000+/month within months — and beyond cash, we reward builders who scale with us through milestone bonuses, performance-based compensation expansion, and the kind of long-term partnership opportunities that do not show up on job boards. The ceiling here is set by you, not by me. You will sit at the center of a venture studio with active deals across multiple SPVs, family office relationships, government partnerships, and a portfolio whose combined ambition is to put a meaningful dent in the world. Few seats give you this view. Almost none give you this seat. WHAT IT WILL FEEL LIKE Some days you will feel like you are drinking from a firehose. Most days you will feel like the work matters. Every day, you will be learning at a rate you cannot get in a corporate seat. If you are looking for predictable and comfortable, this is not it.
