"Coffee's for Closers" — and We're Hiring One
Worldwide
Sell a Product-and-Installation Package No One Else Offers (Southern California) Who We Are We're a 44-year-old Southern California company built around ceiling fans, lighting, and electrical work. Here's what makes us different: we sell the products and we install them — plus electrical services and ongoing maintenance. Nobody else in our market offers the whole package under one roof. That's the story you'll be selling, and it's a strong one. The Job, In One Sentence Reach out to designers, builders, contractors, and real estate agents to sell the full package — products, installation, electrical, and maintenance — and follow up with existing customers after our technicians have been on site to uncover more work. Let's Be Clear: This Is a Results Position We hire for what you bring in, and we love paying people who generate sales — that's the whole point of the role. If you want your earnings tied to your performance, you'll like working with us. If you're looking for hours without results, this isn't the fit. Why This Can Pay Well You're not selling a fan — you're selling a job: the fixtures, the installation, the electrical work behind it, and the maintenance that follows. Package those together and the income can be substantial. We've built it that way on purpose. You also get a running start. We're active members of builders' groups, designer associations, and trade organizations full of exactly the people you'll be selling to — so you're working rooms where we already have a seat at the table. Get your foot in the door with the right designer, builder, or agent and you don't close one deal, you open a recurring source of business — you become the person they call every time. And there's warm business waiting: after our technicians finish a job, you'll follow up with those customers on what else they need. They already know us and already let us into their homes. For a good closer, that's low-friction money. Who We're Looking For A veteran — someone who's spent years closing and wants a place to earn. To be direct: we won't train you to sell. You already know how. We give you a differentiated offer, an existing customer database, and a clear customer profile; you bring the skill. You should: • Sell to designers, builders, real estate agents, and trade pros — relationship-driven, project-based selling • Speak clear, easily understood English. You'll be on the phone with our customers constantly, and they need to follow you effortlessly. Native or near-native fluency • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus — we serve Spanish-speaking clients across Southern California. If you've got it, tell us • Run a CRM fluently — pipeline, follow-up, next steps, second nature • Be a true self-starter and use AI in how you work. We run on Claude (Cowork) for research, outreach, and follow-up The Deal • $10–$20/hour depending on experience, plus commission • Up to 5% commission on the profit dollars you bring in — profit, not revenue • No middleman. You work directly with us; no agency takes a cut. Every dollar you earn is yours • Starts at about 2 hours a day, built to grow — deliver results and we'll increase your hours toward a full-time role. We'd rather have one long-term partner than a series of short hires Working Together You'll work closely with me — I'm the founder, owner, and operator, and I'm hands-on. This is a new position, so we'll build it together and adjust as we go. I know there's a ramp-up and I'm not expecting miracles in week one. Expect a weekly check-in on what's working and where the opportunities are. You'll get a partner invested in your success, not a boss who hands you a quota and disappears. Our Customers • Trade pros: interior designers, custom home builders, general contractors, developers, and real estate agents • Homeowners 35–65, household income $75K–$200K, design-conscious and quality-focused • Primarily Southern California — San Diego County and the Palm Desert area To Apply, Please Tell Us 1 How many years you've sold into the designer/builder/agent/contractor world, and what you sold 2 Which CRM you've used and how you run your pipeline in it 3 A deal you're proud of — ideally one where you packaged multiple things into a bigger sale 4 How you use AI in your sales work today 5 What you're looking to earn from a role like this 6 If you're bilingual English/Spanish, your experience selling in both languages 7. A 60–90 second voice recording walking us through one of those deals — this is a phone-based role, so we want to hear how you'd sound with our customers We're looking for a seasoned closer who wants a long-term home for their skill and is motivated by getting paid for what they bring in. If that's you, we'd like to talk.
