Cold Caller

We need a reliable, detail-oriented caller to contact a list of hospitals across the United States and collect: of information from the direct phone number (or extension) for the hospital's Facilities, Plant Operations, or Engineering department as well as the name of the department head. This is a data-collection task only — no sales, no pitching, no scripts about our company. You will simply call the hospital's main line, ask to be transferred to the facilities/plant operations department, and record the direct number and name of the individual leading the department. What you'll do: Call hospitals from a provided list (name, address, and main phone number included) Ask the receptionist/operator to transfer you to Facilities, Plant Operations, Engineering Once transferred, confirm and record the direct line or extension Log results in a shared spreadsheet (template provided) with columns for: hospital name, direct number/extension, contact name, call outcome, and date Follow up on hospitals where the first attempt didn't reach the department (max 2 attempts before marking as unreachable) Requirements: Fluent English, clear phone communication skills Prior cold-calling, appointment-setting, or B2B phone research experience preferred Comfortable navigating hospital phone trees and speaking with front-desk staff/operators Organized and consistent with data entry (accuracy matters more than speed) Reliable internet/phone setup for outbound US calls Deliverable: A completed spreadsheet with facilities department numbers for every hospital on the list, along with call outcome notes for any hospital where a direct number couldn't be obtained.
